Yesterday was a BIG day for me... I'm unfortunately one of those people who recieve the great news that I have a cavity everytime I go to the dentist... soft enamel they tell me.. and I mean EVERY TIME!! So when I went in for my cleaning yesterday I was completely surprised when the dentist told me I didn't have one.. not ONE!! Yeah! I've never left the dentist office so happy! I bet you didn't care to read this but I had to note this memorable moment!

High five! Now would be the time to plug whatever toothpaste you're using. :-D
I have a friend with the same problem - everytime she goes, she has many cavities - like 10 of them. The weird thing is, she has no plaque. Her dentist says her mouth is very acidic, so that makes plaque difficult to survive, but for enamel too I guess.
I asked my dentist about this and he said by the time you are 6 months old, it is determined what kind of PH your mouth will have. Some people are prone to cavities, others to tartar, etc. My sister rarely flosses and when she goes to the dentist, the hygienist raves about what a great flosser she is. Her husband who flosses every single day gets lectured on how to floss and they think he never does. How unfair. My mom has very white teeth even though she eats a lot of junk, including Coke.
Well, you have a beautiful smile (like my friend who is plagued by cavities) and I would never guess. :)
Way to go April!! I remember too many conversations at work about your frustration with your teeth. I'm glad they are still gorgeous!
Ugh! I wish that was me saying that. I went today and I have to have a Root Canel next Mon. Bummer...And I can strongly say that I HATE the dentist.
Soft enamel must run in the family....
so proud of you April! I always feel bad when we get patients who have clean clean teeth who brush and floss all day long and everytime....cavity. Congrats! Love the pumpkin pics. He is getting so big..can you believe it. I think it's time for you to have another one...what do you think about that?
I hear you sista... I have super bad teeth myself.... I have yet to reach that point of good news from the dentist. I'll probably end up with dentures (totally fake teeth) before I am ever told "no cavities!"
So congrats to you... I'm jealous!
