Gavins First Birthday!

When he woke up from his nap after church he was excited to find a ton of balloons to chase around and play with!
Then the Ricks family came over to celebrate and bring him his first present! He was so good at unwrapping and super ecstatic to find a new stuffed puppy!

Then LaRee gave him a taste of her cupcake... he obviously loved it!

Earlier that day I had made these cute cupcakes! I was so happy they had turned out so well!

A bunch of our friends then came over to celebrate with us and sing Gavin Happy Birthday! I blew out his candle and he went to town on the cupcake... yum!
Then he opened up all his presents!
And Jack even helped with one!
He was so excited for all the new books!

What a wonderful year it has been! We couldn't feel more blessed to have such a wonderful amazing little guy in our family! We love you Gavin!

How fun! I like the idea of the balloons everywhere.(your cupcakes were ADORABLE)For Emma's first we gave her a box of tissue to tear apart that was a blast. The 2nd year is just as fast as the 1st(Emma turns 2 in a few weeks!)

HI There, you don't know me but I'm a Jolley too. I was doing a google search for Holly Jolley's (that's my name) and your blog popped up. I wonder if we are related?? My husband is the jolley of course and I happened to marry it and get the crazy name. I noticed we have many similarities. We live near Seattle, are LDS, went to BYU, I have a blog, etc. Anyway, our names are spelled the same and most of the LDS Jolley's are related! Our blog is jolleyfamilybloggers.blogspot.com

Anyway, your blog is very cute, and I'll bet your husband and mine are related. He is from the Jolley's that are from Southern Utah and and Farmington NM. His grandpa is William Curtis and had a whole bunch of siblings that live in and around Utah. Funny if we were.

Anyway, welcome to Washington (I normally don't read blogs or comment on them when I don't know someone!) but couldn't resist seeing if we are related!

You have a 1 year old??!!?! Are you trying to turn him into a punk rocker with that mohawk? Next thing you know, he'll be riding motorcycles and skateboards! Hey, I turned out ok!

April ....it's Rhen/Erin Hunter!
Cindy was on the phone with me today when she found your blog, so I had to check it out. You have such a darling family. It's amazing how fast they grow & learn how to get into everything. Little Dylan (Dillbilly) is 5 now, can you believe that? Logan's 2 and Mason turned 1 in July. Pretty much I'm getting old... erinisadiamond@hotmail

Your cupcakes turned out to be very cute!

Ryan told me a long time ago that he knew you. I just forgot. Your dad interviewed us to get married :)

We are in Sacramento area (Roseville). Ryan is working as an accountant for KPMg, big four firm. He just finished his last CPA test, hopefully he passes so we can be done! I stay home but do some nannying/babysitting on the side. I will be done doing that in a few weeks and can't wait, but I think I will miss the extra side cash :)
