Don't be worrying... I'm already doing that.... LOTS of that! Still trying to get it all under control here. Swelling, itching, crying, joint aching, and out right ugliness. Thank you (3 trips to the doctor) and Prescription strength Benadryl. I'll keep you all posted on the progress.

Oh my gosh! Poor guy! I remember doing a post like this about Andrew years ago, but it wasn't nearly as severe. The next drug they tried was called Omnicef (sp?) - quite a bit more expensive and luckily he wasn't allergic to that. I'll keep in my prayers tonight.

Poor little guy! That looks bad! I too am allergic to all the penicillins. In addition to the rash, my face was so swollen that you couldn't see my eyes. Hope he returns to normal soon. I will keep your family in my prayers.
Ohhhhh poor baby. We have been through that with our little Sarah. I hated seeing her just so uncomfortable and miserable. Its so sad. Hope he is feeling better soon.

I have that exact same reaction to Amoxicillin! Although, I was in Jr. High when I found out, so his is MUCH much more sad! Oh, just looking at him brings back all the memories of those itchy feelings. Hope that clear up quick!
