What camera do you have?

So I'm in need of a new camera... a real camera... you know...the one that can take awesome pictures no matter how lousy a photographer you are! What camera do you have that you love and why?

So with lots of research for myself, I WANT/NEED the canon rebel xsi. You can find them at Costco. It takes awesome pictures and I think its great for mom's who want to take awesome pictures on there own:) I'm sure there are bigger cameras out there, but that is my fav!

we are canon people. we have the canon elph for just your basic everyday stuff. its really easy to use. we also have the canon rebel xTi for more hardcore stuff. it takes great pictures but you do have to take a lot of time to figure it out (or take a few classes like burke did). its also really big, you cant just put it in your purse.

I would highly suggest Cannon or Sony.... mostly Cannon.

If you're wanting a DSLR (not a point and shoot, pop in your purse kind of camera) the suggestion for the Canon Rebel is a good one. I'll help you learn how to use it. But don't get the kit lens (get the body only). Buy a separate lens. I'll help you with which one.

There are a lot of Choices. I have a good friend who is a Wedding/nature photographer and he has been helping me look at one. The one that my mom, dad, Brian, and I have is the Canon 750. If I read the manual right it can take great pics also. My friend said Canon or Nikon are the best, but you are looking up into the 600-1000 range.

I'm a canon xti girl. you will love it. B&H photo is a really good place to buy good packages to get what you need. I've noticed that every photography website is obsessed with store. That's where I got mine and I'm way impressed. Good Luck.

Hey April! I have the Canon Rebel- probably because every camera I have ever owned is a Canon. But I hear the Nikkon one is just as good. If you get a camera though, get the 50mm/f1.8 lens! (if you love blurry backgrounds) I use it 90% of the time and looooove it! Anyway, good luck!!
