Twilight Movie

So I saw it last night... don't worry, I didn't drag my husband to it... I went with a few girlfriends. Do I recommend you see it you ask? Yes! Of course! It's definitely a low budget film but if you loved the book, and you realize that they had to condense the book, you won't be disappointed! Can't wait to read your comments on what you thought of it!

I'm not sure. I enjoyed it but only because I'd read the books and could fill in the gaps. The gaps in the story, the gaps in the explanations, the gaps in the relationships, the gaps in the emotion, the gaps in WAY too many things. The movie itself evoked NO emotion from me. You didn't get to see them falling in love, the just snapped a few quick shots of them before declaring that "Lion fell in love with the Lamb". You couldn't feel it, or see it, or watch it build from the movie, I just filled it all in in my mind. I want to watch it again though to see if I have a different opinion. But it was very low budget but the casting was GREAT and I thought the acting was great. I just thought they could have done more to develop characters and develop relationships, even if it meant cutting some things completeley instead of trying to get in a quick mention or a quick scene of every part of it. Ya know? I dunno.Okay, I'm done ranting!

Totally agree with the previous commenter about the gaps. The movie was fun, but way cheezy.

K so I watched it a second time and liked it a TON better! And Peter ASKED to go see it (after his brothers went with their wives/girlfriends and liked it) so he came and said there were only one or two cheesy parts but he really liked the rest! I was shocked. Anyway, I just thought I'd let you know that I liked it a ton better the second time!
