Okay, after months of my sisters bugging me to read it (they tried to get me to read Harry Potter too but I never gave in on that one) and my sister Kristen sending me home with the book a month ago... I finally gave in this weekend and picked it up. Now, I do LOVE to read, but I feel if I'm going to put the time into actually sitting down and using my precious moments while Gavin is taken his nap it better be worth something to me... like a gospel doctrinal book or something to benefit me in some way. That way I don't feel guilty for the lost time. So when I was told to read a book called Twilight and it was about Vampires I was not that excited. I finally opened it up and 3 days later... no real deep cleaning had been done to my house... or anything else productive... I finished it. It WAS fabulous! And even a little scary! My sisters were right... and now I will be forced to give up more of my precious time as I now feel the need to read the next 2 books in the series... and I hear the 4th comes out this August... Sorry to everything I have neglected but it really has been nice to have a guilty pleasure to look forward to when my cute little guy goes down for his naps!
P.S. I just found the movie trailer and you have to see it! It gets me so excited for it to be released in December! Take a peak.... http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=vids.individual&videoid=33429578

I totally know what you mean...I thought there was no way I would like a book about vampires, but I'm hooked. Glad you joined the club! :)
Welcome to the world Edward!!! I have to confess, I read the first two and even got a whole bunch of family and friends to read it too, and then I went on a bit of a strike. I quit reading them...because I didn't want them to end. So, yeah, I still haven't read the third one. I figure, I'll pick it up here in the next little bit in preparation for the fourth one to come out! I'm glad you liked it!
Welcome to our club!
They really are amazing....I read about it from holly and picked all three up together a couple of weeks ago...I finished all 3 in 4 days....so bad. Every time shea was down for a nap or in bed for the night I was reading. I cant wait till book 4 and the movie. She also is writing a book based on twilght but through edwards eyes....you can read the first chapter on her website. It is the 5th book on the list. Its great to see it form his view.
I love this series. I cant wait til the next book or movie either. I saw the trailer when we went to the movies a couple of weeks ago and I am so stoked!! I just got her new book the Host for my B-day and have started that one to get me by until the 4th of the TWILIGHT series comes out!
Milly said to tell you that she picked up a copy yesterday and plans on reading it while I drive up to Idaho tomorrow. One of Milly's young women read it last year and told her about it.

Love them! Read the first three in about 2 weeks. Needless to say the kids and the house were a tad neglected whilst I was immersed in vampire romance. Who knew?!?! Taylor and I are debating on whether or not to buy 2 copies of the latest installment in August for our trip home from the shore.
April, I'm so like and think that I need to be reading something productive, not a book about vampires and werewolves. However, I can't believe it, but I've joined the ranks as well and have enjoyed every minute of it. I've even got Dave reading them. Who knew?!
PS My shirt is from good ol' Target. :)
April- I can't believe you fell into the trap! I don't care what anyone says- I'm still holding out!! Then again, I also said I would never blog :)
