My Dishwasher Boy

This guy LOVES the dishwasher. If I don't lock it after everytime I open it... this is what I find. It's a good thing he's still a lightweight cuz he'd probably already have broken it!

St. Patty's Day... YUM!

St. Patrick's Day at our house means yummy green food! Green waffles, yogurt, and milk for breakfast. Green grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch. Green soup with green bread bowls for dinner. And of course fun green treats for playgroup and dessert that night! I LOVE to have a reason to make food fun!

Don't you just hate when the time change creeps up on you? We showed up an hour late to church this morning... Awesome :( good thing we weren't the speakers this week!

Superheroes

I decided Gavin needed some Superhero capes so I wipped up a few capes for the boys to play with last month. They have really enjoyed them! (And I thought they turned out pretty good if I don't mind saying so myself!) Gavin really is a little superhero around the house. He loves to save Drew from anything and everything that might hurt of choke his brother. I love watching these two play together... how fun little boys are!

OUCH!

We had to visit the urgent care yesterday morning... Poor Drew touched the glass of our gas burning fireplace. He screamed non stop for almost 2 hours. It was terrible!! Luckily, they said he didn't burn the hinges of his fingers so no permanent damage will be done.

After we left there we headed to the zoo for the day. (the original plan for the day) Gavin was soon complaining of being SO cold (it was 40 degrees outside) but he's never ever cold. By the time we got home, he was running a 103 fever.

Needless to say, not one of us left our pajamas today. Lots of books have been read, felt board stories played with and too much TV has been watched. But now that everyone is all showered up, drugged with pain reliever, and snug in our beds... let's hope for a better night tonight! Here's to being a mom :)

Christmas day has come and gone.
The cookies and milk were set out for Santa...

Santa's Helper
