3 weeks old

I woke up yesterday and thought Drew looked older... must be because he's 3 weeks old now!! So I snapped a few pics while we played on Gavins bed yesterday morning. I'm just loving these navy blue eyes... wonder if they will stay!

Almost 2 weeks old!

So... it's almost been 2 weeks since Drew has joined our family! I can't believe how perfect this little boy is!! Devin and I feel so blessed! He SO calm natured. Only cries when he's hungry or hurts. He has the cutest newborn squeal you've ever heard. He SLEEPS.... Gavin was a terrible sleeper and was colic for the first 3 months.... but Drew goes 4 to 7 hours at a time at night between feeds. It's so weird not feel overly exhausted like I did with Gavin. The hardest thing now is trying to keep his brother from clobbering him with love. Gavin wants so badly to hold and play with him. These little boys will be best friends I'm sure.

My mom is here watching Gavin (thank you, thank you, thank you)... and they got to come see Drew today. Gavin was so excited to hold and kiss him... and tell EVERYONE this was his baby brother. Too cute!!

Tulip Festival in Bloom!

So, we made it back to the Tulip Festival this weekend at the right time!! THEY WERE GORGEOUS! This is just a few of the MANY pics I took while we were there! I'm hoping I'll have time next week (if I haven't delivered) to show my mom this when she gets here... they are her favorite flower.

Then we drove down to Anacortes Beach to throw rocks and look at the gorgeous view! I feel so lucky to see so much beautiful nature where I live.

Easter Morning

This little guy woke up and ran into our room chattering on about how the Easter Bunny was coming today. How this cute boy remembers everything?... I don't know... but he was definitely ready for the egg hunt to begin!

Our day was FULL of jelly beans, baking, coloring, cars, inside bowling, and the best part... watching conference! We love conference weekend! I can't wait to spend the next month reviewing all the inspired talks and applying them to my life! It was a wonderful way to spend this Easter Sunday!

Homemade Cinnamon Crunch Bagels

I keep meaning to post about these. I made these a few weeks back (and 3 times since... but with asiago instead.. yum!) and they were delicious! My sister foudn these and posted the link on her blog. The best thing about this recipe is it's SUPER EASY!! Who doesn't want to make their own bagels occasionally!?

I searched the web for my favorite bagel topping though... the cinnamon crunch bagel from Panera... but with no luck. So, I created my own... and I think it turned out pretty yummy!!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Daffodils!!

The tulip festival is something I've wanted to see for a long time... unfortunately they haven't bloomed quite yet.. but the daffodils have! So we took the hour drive today and will be back next month for the tulips! Gavin LOVED all the flowers and it was killing this sweet boy not to pick one for his mom. :) I loved so many of these pics that I'm sorry you'll have to gut through them all! (the colors we so fabulous.. these pics haven't had an ounce of editing!)
