Cutest thing

So, Gavin has started the cutest thing the last few days... when he gets mad he bables on in his own language with a very mad face... it goes something like this "oooh gaa goo blah blah ahh aah" and then ends with a very loud (and my favorite part) "mmmmm... maaaa"! I love it cuz it sounds like he's saying ma and yelling at me! He does this especially when he's tired and doesn't want to be strapped into his car seat! I can't wait til he starts saying mama for real :)

Crazy moment

Okay, so yesterday we went to Fry's Electronics (amazing store by the way) and it was raining really hard, so Devin dropped Gavin and I off at the front.. well, the minute I walked in this really loud alarm went off and almost all the employees went running... and I mean not just a normal run, an amazing sprint.. I of course got really nervous cuz I didn't know what was going on.. Anyway, a few minutes later a large group of employees came walking into the entrance where I was with a guy and a Nintendo Wii box he had shoplifted out a back exit! I was so impressed they caught him... well, then it got even crazier cuz this older man standing 10 feet away from me fell to the ground (heart attack we think) and I had to call 911... by the time Devin got to us I couldn't believe what had all happened!

So Sick!

This last week I came down with a bad cold... and unfortunately Gavin picked it up! He's been such a trooper though, laughing and smiling even though he has a fever, cough, and runny nose. What has scared me the most though is his croup cough at night. But I think he has actually enjoyed it cuz I get all nervous and plop him next to me in bed... he loves to sleep between mom and dad (a no no in my book) Unfortunately we have gotten no sleep and have spent our sleeping hours watching him to make sure he's breathing! Oh, the joys of the sleepless nights parenthood brings!

My wonderful husband!

This week has been so fabulous! I feel like a new woman.... the reason.. you ask? My husband has so sweetly given me the opportunity to work out in the morning before he leaves for work! After Gavin wakes up and eats around 6:45 or 7:00 I get to run off to the gym until Devin has to leave for work at 8:00... even if it is only 45 minutes of cardio...it's enough to make me feel like myself again! There is nothing like an early morning workout! And I know Gavin just loves hanging out and watching his Daddy get ready for work! What an amazing husband I have!

This morning

I went a little picture crazy this morning but I couldn't help it... he was so cute when he woke up! He's growing up so fast and I don't want his grandparents to miss out! So I hope you all enjoy his cute little face as much as I do!

First baseball game!

So our good friends Matt and Joanna invited us to the Mariners game last night and it was so fun! As you can tell from Gavins open mouth he loved it... maybe we have a future baseball player on our hands! The game went til 10:30 and Gavin was a trooper... sleeping most the time in my lap :) It's was super fun and I hope we get to do it again! Unfortunately we lost in the last inning but the company was great and the stadium was beautiful!

Snow... in Washington??

This weekend we had a weird storm... and crazy enough but we woke up yesterday morning to this! I had to take a picture of the baseball field across from our church... crazy!

Yum... rice cereal!

I started Gavin on rice cereal 2 weeks ago and he loves it! I have to get the spoon to him fast or the bib will get in first! Its so fun to watch him grow up so fast!

Easter fun!

So, Devin firmly disagreed that bunny ears should go on a boy but I had to do it! Here Gavin is on Easter! So cute!

Still alive!

So, I bet you all think I died.... but we got back from San Diego on Sunday, and sadly our computer wouldn't turn on... after much investigation and a trip to circuit city to talk to the geek squad... we came to the sad conclusion that our computer was dead :( So here I am at the library down the street writing to you all. I know it's a sad story, but it gets worse... all the pictures I took in San diego got deleted... no cute pictures of Gavin on the beach for all of you to see... But San Diego was beautiful, despite the cold windy weather... and Brooke's wedding was WONDERFUL! I'm so excited for her to marry Josh... he's a fabulous addition to the family! The San Diego temple was so unbelieveably gorgeous! I haven't been inside since I was 11 (before it was dedicated) and I was awstruck at the beauty inside! The atrium was breathtaking! Gavin had a blast playing with all his aunts and uncles all weekend... and of course grandma and grandpa couldn't get enough! Thanks again for such a fun weekend! Well Easter is tomorrow and I promise to take so pictures so that I have something to post for you all to see! Happy easter everyone and I'll write more next week!

Selling Advise?

Well... after making my crafty cow... I went a little crazy and started making a bunch of different animals... they are sooooo cute! I'm having so much fun making them! But now I need places to sell them... I checked out Etsy ( thank you Joanna and Stephanie!) and I'll post them there but where else? Craigs list of course.. maybe ebay? I really think these are such a great thing... Gavin loves his... and I love that he's not constantly losing/dropping his stuffed animals... I need to post some pics of some of the new ones I've made... a frog, lion, gorilla, and a puppy dog! I'll get on that tomorrow so you guys can give me some feed back :)

Yummy Pizza!!

So, after a long day of sewing yesterday I needed to throw together a fun easy dinner... so here it is... my favorite, homemade BBQ chicken pizza... for all of you that love chicken pizza this is fabulous! Here's the reciepe for the crust :

In your breadmaker:

3/4 cup warm water

1 Tb. Olive oil

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. sugar

2 1/4 cups flour

1 tsp dry yeast

Roll out the dough and smoother with Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce (the best flavor for this pizza)

Spinkle as much mozzarella cheese as you would like

Grill a breast of chicken on your George Foreman then slice into chunks and roll it around with some BBQ sauce... then sprinkle all over the top of the pizza

Cook 400 degrees for about 20 mins or so... enjoy! Yum!

Crafty cow!

Okay... so I've been on a craft kick this past week and have visited this awesome craft store I found down the street almost every day. But today I saw this cozy cow material and had an idea... and this is what I made! Isn't it cute! Gavin always loves to chew on his stuffed animals, so I decided to put one on a blanket so he could always have one with him that won't fall out of his carseat! Brilliant.. I know :) If anyone would like me to make them one, let me know!

Sudoku

For all of you that love Sudoku as much as I do... I added it to the bottom of my blog... feel free to play as much and as long as you would like! (I hear it is exercise for your brain!) Hopefully I'll get to play a game or two myself!

Naked eye!

As I washed my face tonight I couldn't help but wonder if any of you ladies have experienced the amount of lost eyelashes as I have over the last month... I know the huge amount of hair loss after the birth of a baby is normal (which in my case I won't complain, I have enough for two or three... anyone that has seen my hair before it is flat ironed can testify of it's enormity) but my eyelashes?! Come on! My poor right eye especially looks like stretched out spider legs this last week... no fun to put mascara on! So someone give me some hope I'm not alone in this weird phenomenon...

Spring is almost here!

We had the most BEAUTIFUL day today! With the sun shinning in a perfectly blue cloudless sky I couldn't help but spend the whole day outside! Gavin and I walked the town.. playing through all the fun shops... and even found an amazing craft store. On our way home I was thrilled to find blossoms budding on these trees... so I had to take a picture! Spring is almost here! Yeah!!

Future BYU football player?... maybe

I know it's not football season yet... but we were happy to hear we will be able to see all the games this year on TV! YEAH! (we only got to see 2 last year) But today I discovered that his BYU jersey finally fits him... and I think Gavin was just as excited as I was! I know his Grandpa Lundquist would be very proud of this picture so I had to post it for him!
